Unfortunately Nesta’s Shark Dive had to be postponed earlier this year due to ‘over excited sharks’, she was suited up and had had her training, but was told it was just too dangerous to get in with the sharks when the time came.
The dive is back on now and scheduled for late afternoon on Friday the 12th of July 2013 at Blue Planet Aquarium. Please consider sponsoring or going to cheer her on, the money raised will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign who support people with all forms of Muscular Dystrophy and fund research into finding treatments, and in time hopefully cures, for these diseases.
Again I would like to thank Nesta for doing this and also congratulate her on winning the Alun Islwyn Giles memorial nursing scholarship, The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is a great cause and it is also amazing to think she would do something like this after reading a post about me, thank you Nesta and please don’t get in the tank if the sharks look frisky.
