I have just been awarded £2000 by Barchester Healthcare towards my wheelchair, I only need to raise £3000 more and I can buy it! My dog recently had puppies so we are selling two of them which should raise another £1000 towards the cost, I’m also hopeful that Anna from the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign will be able to help me raise the remaining money. Wheelchair Services may eventually offer some money towards the chair but to be totally honest I really want to be able to do this without them, they have caused me so much trouble and stress I just want to see the back of them now.
