It was the first sunny day in a while where I’ve actually been able to get out without being too stressed. Slimbridge is a lovely place, although it will be nicer once they’ve finished all the building work, I’ll probably hold off on renewing my membership until then.
This was my first time visiting Cotswold Farm Park so I wasn’t sure how wheelchair friendly it would be. I wanted to go while it was still lamb season, but before the Easter holidays! I chose a saver ticket which is under £10, carers get free entry.
January hasn’t been the best month, wheelchair issues, care issues, Mum has had an operation on her knee, I’ve been feeling very stressed & my anxiety has been high, this along with feeling generally ill & low has meant I haven’t got out much.
I hadn’t managed to visit Sudeley Castle in a couple of years, but on Monday, as I was already nearby in Bourton-on-the-Water taking some photos, I decided to go see the Sudeley Castle Spectacle of Light.

The weather didn’t look too bad on Tuesday so I decided to risk visiting Dyrham Park, I try to do shorter visits to places in the colder months as wrapping up in the many layers necessary restricts my movement and sitting in a wheelchair can become very uncomfortable when you are so bundled up.
