Wild Sanctuary Add-On for NASA WorldWind

This Add-on is based on the kml from Wild Sanctuary (Archive.org), which plays audio clips from many locations around the world, a network xml is used so that any new information can be added automatically each time you load World Wind.

Installation

Using the self installing exe –

  • Double click ‘WorldWind_1.4_wild_sanctuary_1.0.exe’ and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • When the installer has completed you are ready to run World Wind.

Usage

Open World Winds’s ‘Layer Manager‘.

Then tick the box next to Wild Sanctuary, lots of Wild Sanctuary icons will appear on the globe.

Next click a Wild Sanctuary icon on the globe and a sound, recorded at that location, is played inside World Wind using the internal browser.
